Return to Video Gallery

Qualifying for Social Security disability benefits is a pretty complex question. It all depends on what your medical condition is or are, and what kind of jobs you’ve had in the past, and whether or not you can do those jobs in the past, and whether or not, based on your physical and residual functional capacity, whether there are any jobs in the national economy that you can do that exists in significant numbers.

So, filing for Social Security disability is not only a medical determination, it’s also a vocational determination and the judge has to make an administrative determination of your disability.
