How long does it take to get approval or denial for Social Security disability claims?

Well, it's a complicated question. How long does it take to get approval or denial for a claim? You can get approved immediately depending on your status. If you're missing two arms and two legs and you're blind, you should be approved within the first 90 days. But typically these claims don't get approved in the first 90 days. In this jurisdiction you have to file a request for a consideration after your first 90 days when you're turned down. Then you have to file a request for hearing if you're turned down again. Which is another 90 days. The some people have to wait, depends on the jurisdiction, but up to 620 days. 720 in some cases to get a hearing on the matter. So that's a pretty complicated question. It will all depend on your case. I suggest that you see somebody about the case who can organize it better for Social Security so you won't have to spend as much time going to hearing.
