How long will I be able to receive Social Security disability benefits?

You will be allowed to receive Social Security disability benefits as long as you're disabled up until the age that you're considered to be fully retired, which is either 65 or 66 depending on your age right now. It'll be 67 and 68 as time goes on so that this answer is going to change over time, but once you hit full retirement age you're no longer eligible for Social Security disability benefits.
