Can my monthly Social Security disability benefits increase if my disability has worsened or for other health problems?

Always a question that the Social Security disability is not like VA disability, where the amount of payment increases with the amount of disability that you're determined to have. Your SSDI payment will pretty much remain the same subject to cost of living. The issue is whether or not you can go back to work and work in any job that may be available in the national economy, and that job or that determination is pretty much carved in stone when you’re determined to be disabled. So, even if your VA disability rating says, 50% and it gives you a hundred and you go up in VA, no such system of any equal value exists on the Social Security disability system. Either you're disabled or you're not.
