What is a "VE" or Vocational Expert who may appear and testify at my hearing?

Because disability is an administrative determination and not just a medical one, the ALJ will have an expert in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation to testify as to whether or not you can work in any job that may be available in significant numbers in the national economy. His testimony will be helpful to the ALJ in making a well reasoned decision based on the evidence in your case.
