What kinds of questions will be asked at my hearing by the Judge or my attorney?

You will be asked your Name, Social Security #, Date of Birth, Age, Current Address and Telephone Number.   You may also be asked your current height and weight and whether or not you have gained weight in the past few years and why.

You will be asked if you have any problems reading or writing and if so, to please explain why.

You will be asked what was the highest grade you reached in school was.

You may be asked if you have you ever applied for social security disability prior to this application?  And, If you had  a previous application, to please give the dates of your previous applications, and the date of the last decision and the result of that decision.

You will be asked if you have returned to work since filing for disability and If yes, to please give the names, addresses, phone and fax numbers of each employer with beginning and end dates of employment and your earnings history from each.  So, if you have any ending pay stubs bring them with you, as there may be issues concerning your earnings, offsets or working at SGA levels.
