What should the judge’s conclusion be at the end of a SSD/SSI case?
After careful review of the evidence and consideration of the entire record as a whole and by applying the sequential steps outlined in the regulations 20 CFR 404, 1520(a) and 416.920(a), one would hope that the court finds and concludes that the claimant has been disabled from the alleged date of onset through the date of the court’s decision and further finds that the insured status requirements of the Social Security Act were met as of the date disability is established.
