What about my ADLS or "Activities of Daily Life", will I be asked about them?

Yes. Because both physically and mentally disabled persons may not be able to attend to their own personal hygiene, you may be asked if you wash, bathe, shave, and brush teeth regularly or if you need reminders.  For example people with bad backs or neurological problems may be asked if they have guardrails in tub or even use use a bathtub because of its danger to the infirm.  In the same regard, you may be asked if you only take short showers or long showers, use ice and why.  People with upper extremity problems or vision problems may be asked if they find it difficult to apply make-up or buttoning clothing or getting dressed.  People with low back problems may be asked if they have problems putting on shoes or socks or wear only sandals or shoes that will slip on and off with ease.

People with balance or seizure problems or Diabetes may be asked if they ever feel dizzy or lightheaded or if they ever black out and if so, how often and if they have any seizures, how often and to Describe them.
