Will the ALJ give me a decision immediately after my hearing?

Rarely.  Some decisions called “Bench Decisions” are issued by the ALJ while he is still sitting on the bench before you.  This occurs in fewer than ten percent of cases heard before an ALJ.  One must have a particularly convincing case or advocate to help make this happen.
